Cornerstone Building Brands CEO Rose Lee Named 2022 Peak 25 Honoree

Lee Highlighted as Rising Business Leader in Inaugural Triangle Business Journal Feature

Cornerstone Building Brands, the largest manufacturer of exterior building products in North America, today announced that President and CEO Rose Lee was named a 2022 Peak 25 honoree by the Triangle Business Journal (TBJ). Peak 25 recognizes executives in the Raleigh-Durham area who have become leaders of their organizations within the past two years and are positioning their organizations for growth and excellence. As an inaugural Peak 25 honoree, Lee joins two dozen other prominent business leaders featured this year.

In her Peak 25 profile, Lee shares insights on her leadership of Cornerstone Building Brands, her professional journey and how she’s staying focused on operational improvements that customers value and accelerating growth as a result. As a CEO of an industry-leading manufacturing company, Lee provides her views on transitioning from a public to a PE-backed private company as well as the economic headwinds facing much of the market today. “Our vision to be the premier exterior building solutions company and our strategy has not changed. Lee brings more than 30 years of manufacturing experience to her position as President and CEO and a member of the board of directors of Cornerstone Building Brands, which she has held since September 2021. Prior to joining Cornerstone Building Brands, Lee was President of DuPont Water & Protection reporting segment. Earlier in her career, Lee held senior leadership positions at Saint-Gobain, Booz Allen and Pratt & Whitney. Lee is the first female Korean American CEO of a Fortune 1000 company and will chair The Manufacturing Institute’s Women MAKE America Initiative in 2023, where she currently serves as vice chair. She is also an independent board member of Honeywell and was recently named to the National Association of Manufacturers board of directors.
